One of the many great things about Natures Cup, whether this is in our original design (shown here), or if you’ve invested in your own design, there’s no plastics involved, so even if you were to accidentally drop a cup on the floor, and ok, admittedly it would take quite a while to degrade, unless of course you manage to drop it in an industrial composting facility – in which case it would be gone in less time than it takes to say supercalifragilisticexpalidousious backwards, um…. where was I, oh yes, even then, the impact on the planet would be minimal.

Whichever way you look at it, NO PLASTIC, is a good thing right ?

And remember, there’s no chemicals in our glues or inks either.

To say we’ve “invested heavily” in our facility to manufacture these biodegradable and compostable takeaway cups, right here in the heart of Hampshire, would be an understatement ! It takes time and money to;

research the cup making equipment and make a decision on which one to purchase
Organise delivery and get it all set up and operating correctly
Choose the best compostable paper for the inner and outer sleeves
Choose the best compostable inks and compostable glues to use
Ensure production of the final cups is efficient and the very best quality.

All of this has been achieved in only a matter of months and we are proud to be able to offer these cups to cafes, coffee shops, hotels, restaurants and corporate clients throughout the UK. We do also test the cups every so often, and with our coffee roastery less than 5 metres away, it would be rude not to !

Very exciting times here at QT HQ with the delivery of our new compostable paper cup making machine…

Our new disposable cup making machine arrives at our warehouse facility in Hampshire – meaning we are now the perfect source for your compostable and biodegradable takeaway cups if you operate in the south / south east / south west of the UK…

Our takeaway cups are 100% compostable & biodegradable, including the glue and ink !

You can order them in our standard “Natures Cup” design, or we will work with you to create your own cup design (minimum quantities apply)!

The delivery of the new machine went quite smoothly in the end, although we had to borrow a fork-lift from the company in the adjoining unit because it was heavier than we expected !! It’s a good good job we have good neighbours !!

It has taken a few weeks to get it all set up and working correctly, and we have learnt a lot in that time, but we are up and running 🙂

7th December 2022 – As a small update to this post, we have already fulfilled a number of orders of over 100,000 cups and all is looking bright for the future of our new takeaway cup making facility.
