Compostable / Biodegradable Takeaway Hot Drinks Cups
Our compostable / biodegradable takeaway hot drinks cups are double walled and constructed from sustainably managed forestry, being 100% sustainable. The inner lining is a plant-based coating enabling the whole cup to fully compost within industrial composting facilities (IVC or In-Vessel Composting) within just 12 weeks – but perhaps most importantly they do not create any micro plastics that do so much harm in our environment, plus, the outer packaging boxes are recyclable, as are the outer sleeves the cups are wrapped in for hygiene purposes.
Other “bio cups” have just the inners sleeves of biodegradable board, but ours have inner and outer. Also, while others have biodegradable paper, the ink and glue used is often not biodegradable. It’s like calling yourself a vegetarian and using a beef stock in your vegetable lasagne!
Last but not least, our cups are designed with a new sleek “easy hold” profile making them a pleasure to use !
